Day 1 Arrival in Passau
Passau’s historic centre has a very distinct Mediterranean flair about it. Embarkation at approx. 4:30 pm, departure at 7 pm.

Day 2 Wachau, approx. 53 km/33 mi
Today you will cycle through the famous Wachau area and see the magnificent Abbey Melk. Followed by an overnight boat trip to Bratislava.

Day 3 Bratislava - Šamorín, approx. 48 km/30 mi
Explore Slovakia’s capital under your own steam or book one of the guided tours offered aboard your ship. You will cycle to the Danubiana Meulensteen island with its art museum and sculpture garden.

Day 4  Kalocsa - Baja, approx. 55 km/34 mi
The ship will take you to Kalocsa, highlights of this stage include Bishop's Palace and the Cathedral. Cycling tour along the car-free Europe bike path through the Puszta. Overnight boat trip to Belgrad.

Day 5 Round trip Belgrade, approx. 45 km/28 mi
The morning starts with a two-and-a-half hours city tour. In the afternoon you will cycle on the Save cycle path. Followed by an overnight boat trip to Kladovo.

Day 6 Kladovo & National Park Iron Gate, 28 km/17 mi
Visit to Fetislam Fortress and bike ride to wine tasting. You’ll get to marvel at the Danube Gorge of the Iron Gate along the border between Serbia and Romania. Overnight boat trip to Golubac.

Day 7 Round trip Silver Lake, 22-44 km/14-27 mi
After visiting the largest fortress in Serbia, today's bike tour leads to the Serbian Silver Lake, formed from a former Danube tributary. Followed by an overnight boat trip to Novi Sad.

Day 8 Round trip Novi Sad, approx. 46 km/29 mi
Guided city tour with Peterwardein fortress in Novi Sad, Vojvodina’s capital, and cycling tour along the Danube cycle path with a drink in a typical Čarda. Overnight boat trip to Mohács.

Day 9 Round trip Mohács, 22-46 km/14-29 mi
You’ll be cycling through the Duna-Dráva National Park in Hungary via the Stork Museum to the Sátorhely Battle Monument. In Mohács, urban bustle and premium wines await. Overnight boat trip to Budapest

Day 10 Budapest, approx. 24 km/15 mi
There are several optional packets available to book, or why not go ahead and explore the hungarian capital under your own steam. Alternatively you can cycle to the Margarte Islands. Overnight boat trip to Esztergom.

Day 11 Esztergom - Komárno, approx. 56 km/35 mi
After visiting the cathedral you cycle along the Danube on the Slovak side. Again and again there are beautiful sandy beaches and swimming opportunities. Followed by an overnight boat trip to Vienna.

Day 12 Vienna and departure
Around 10:30 am we will be arriving in Vienna where this "Tour to the Iron Gate aboard MS Primadonna" concludes. Return transfer to Passau or travel extension in Vienna.

Arrival to "Tour to the Iron Gate - MS Primadonna":

• Parking in Passau:
  120 €, fenced-in outdoor area, unguarded
  includes transfers, departure approx. 4.30 pm,
  with advance booking

• Arrival in Passau via train:
  From the railway station to the berth Passau-Lindau it is about 4 kilometers. Transfer included, departure approx. 4.30 pm
  Alternatively by bus no.1 or 3, departure at the bus station (ZOB).

  Price per taxi approx. 15 €

• Arrival at Munich airport:
  Distance to Passau approx. 160 km, excellent train connections, journey takes approx. 2.5 hours.
  Train ticket price per person: approx. 30 €
  Rental car, one way per vehicle: approx. 200-250 €

Return transfer:

• by bus or train
• bikes will be transported to Passau by bus regardless of the chosen method of return transfer. Transfer at the parking lot in Passau.
• in case of extension in Vienna: return transfer by train, bikes will be transported by bus to Passau on the original day of departure. Handover at the parking lot after your arrival in Passau.

Personal bikes:
You can always take your own bike with you. Please note, however, that your bike will be loaded twice a day with many others on and off the ship and damage can not be ruled out. A liability for this can not be assumed. We advise you to book one of the good rental bikes.

During your tour, we are available between 8 am and 8 pm, 7 days a week. We are happy to help with any kind of problems you might be having. You will find this emergency number in your travel documents.
